We are an authorized Baby Lock Dealer and offer in-house service and repairs for Baby Lock machines. Work is done weekly, and we ask that you bring in your machine with the power cord and foot pedal.

Our 10-point checkup includes inspecting the needle shaft, presser foot shaft,  drive-line belts/gears, tensioner and take-up springs, bobbin tire/winder, stitch cams, hook assembly, needle to hook clearance/timing, reverse assembly, stitch length assembly, feed dog assembly, lower drive-line, motor mounts/belt tension, and the cords/foot control as well as cleaning and lubricating the machine and installing a new needle.

If you purchased your Baby Lock machine from Ragtime, we charge only $45 for the 10-point checkup. We recommend this be done on a yearly basis.  Checkups for Baby Locks purchased elsewhere will be $65.

If your Baby Lock has not been serviced in awhile or if it's a high use machine, you may want to consider our 38-point checkup which includes deep checking, testing, lubricating and cleaning of all functions and features on your machine as well as replacing some parts and minor repairs. Computer functions are checked and re-calibrated. Decorative, utility, embroidery and buttonhole stitches are tested. Prices for the 38-point checkup are as follows:

$75    Mechanical machines ($55 our customers)
$125  Genuine sewing series, sergers  ($95 our customers)

$175  Electronic sewing and embroidery machines ($145 our customers)
$225  Professional embroidery ($195 our customers)

     Repair - $75/hour

     Minimum bench fee $20

     Travel: Labor, 2 people, $40/hour (one person $25/hour)
