Date & Time: Wednesday, November 6, 2024, 4:00-6:30 Skill Level: Beginner Price: $39 plus supplies Instructor: Kathy Join us for hands-on experimenting with 10 different types of sewn seams and their finishes: plain, double stitched, pinked, serged, zig-zag, welt, flat fell, lapped, French, and bias bound. They will be explained before you try each one. We'll discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each one as well as when best to use them. You'll go home with written directions and a sample of each seam to enhance your sewing practice. Required Supplies: Supplies and sewing tools are not included. Please pick up the supply list at least a day before the class so you can gather your supplies and tools needed. You can bring your machine or use one of our classroom machines.
