For those of you planning the rest of your summer, Ragtime Fabrics will be closed Labor Day weekend, Fri 9/3-Mon 9/6 so we may do inventory. We will re-open on Tuesday 9/7. (7/27)

Handmade gifts are a joy to give and receive. Get an early start on Holiday gifts and take advantage of our inventory reduction sales.......thousands of yards of fabric and trim are in the Clearance area! 7/21

Custom made summer frocks are comfortable, flattering and unique. We have a huge inventory of cool, natural fabric such as rayon, cotton, linen in many different colors and prints. Take a class with Gloria and learn to sew your own or have our tailor, Kathleen, make a dress for you.......get your wardrobe ready for the beach, summer parties or back-to-school! 7/16

How sweet it would be to have the house re-decorated in time for the Holidays, not rushing to do it during the Holidays! Home dec fabric and trim inventory is huge and many traditional, whimsical, modern pieces are available at affordable prices. You will find "joy in the journey" of re-decorating if you begin now! 7/14/10

Inventory reduction going on this summer! Lots of fabric, trims and accessories being shifted to the Clearance area. We will be closed Labor Day weekend, September 3-6, to count what is left. New goods arriving after Inventory..... 7/12/10

We had a major water leak in the ceiling above the quilting fabrics on March 18...

The Update to this wet disaster.........a happy 'ending'.....

All soaked fabric, trim and notions were donated to the Chimney Rock VFW Ladies Auxillary. From the donation, the women have made 40+ lap quilts to deliver to the Fisher House, a temporary home for family members of those soldiers and veterans who are being treated at the VA Hospital in Richmond, VA. The women have also raised $6,000+ for the CRVFW and still have much more fabric left to benefit the Veterans and Troops........and, some of these women who do not sew are sewing now!
